Zainab Nur
Zainab Nur, is the Co-Founder of Hayaat Women Trust, an African Disapora Womens Group, based in Cardiff. She has worked in the Public Sector as a Professional Social Worker for most of her career. In the last 5 years, she has given her time freely in advocating for people’s rights to their entitlement to public services. She is passionate about women & girls rights and has a long history of being a community activist. She will be sharing the positive changes that have occurred in challenging Female Circumcision in her community in Wales. Zainab was one of the initial campaigners for the ani-FGM movement in the UK during the 1980s.
