Mortgage Marketing Expert - A podcast by Phil Treadwell - Wednesdays

Categories:

In this episode I sit down with Randell Gillespie, my boss at Thrive Mortgage, near the end of our Thrive 2022 Summit in Austin, TX last month. We talk about some of the issues that our industry is face with today, and how LO's, branches, and companies can set themselves apart in a crowded industry. We also break down the best ways to use automation and technology without replacing relationships or becoming too transactional. Randell Gillespie is the National Sales Manager for Thrive Mortgage, one of the most recognizable brands and innovative lenders of this modern era of mortgage lending. Randell has a wealth of experience and relationships from over 30 years in the business, and says it starts with his love of the mortgage business and still remembers his first client he helped get into their dream home. He is an inspirational leader and execution-focused strategic planner and strives to “pay it forward” from those who have invested in his career. After serving with distinction in the Marine Corps for 4 years, Randell served on his local City Council and ultimately joined the mortgage industry as a Loan Originator, where he earned Rookie of the Year. He was soon given the opportunity to run a branch and built it to the number one lender in the market. He was promoted through the ranks in Area, Regional and Divisional roles covering markets all throughout the US. His most prized recognitions have come from notes from teammates that share appreciation for developing them into stronger professionals and inspiring them to greater performance. He is a grateful husband and father of 9 children who have gone into ministry, medicine and music education.
