This week, I link up with Fred Sirieix, best known for being the marvellous maître d' on Channel 4’s First Dates.   Fred has had a storied career; he’s also hosted shows like Million Pound Menu and Remarkable Places to Eat, and before that had long stints working at and managing some of the best restaurants in the world, including the Michelin-starred Galvin at Windows. During a sunny walk in Peckham, we chat about his whole career path - from washing plates to hosting First Dates.   We also discuss the importance of starting your day off in the right way, how meditative exercise can be, and our mutual love of boxing. He speaks openly about the pride he feels for his daughter, Olympic Diver Andrea Sirieix, and her inspirational mindset.   And lucky for me, Fred shares some insights on dating, giving me some much-needed advice - and divulging some First Dates horror stories.   I had a great time chatting with Fred! His passion for life is truly inspiring, as is his dating advice…   Listen to the full audio on all your favourite podcast platforms!   #mondaymile #mondaymilepodcast #fredsirieix #firstdates Aimee will be probing for answers from the full spectrum of routines; the early birds who have finely tuned Monday mornings, to the late risers who struggle to get up before 11am.
