S1 Ep6: Dr Ranj - "you have one life, live it, you never know what is around the corner"

This week on Monday Mile, I am heading to South West London to meet one of the most well known Doctors in the game, Dr Ranj. He’s been the resident expert on ITVs This Morning for a number of years and is paving the way with the importance of Mental Health awareness. He's an NHS Doctor, a dancer, a singer, and an Author and he's even got his own show in the WestEnd, as well as working on the front line during the pandemic. He talks us through the easing of lockdown and how to approach any anxieties around us slowly returning to normality. We also dive into the topic of Mental Health, the importance of being open and how important that support is. I also pick his brain on how best to go about that first tricky conversation, whether it be supporting someone struggling, or yourself reaching out for help, and admitting you are struggling. Make sure to check out his new show WEST END SHOW #ScrubsToSparkles 15th June! Hosted by Gethin Jones, staring  @jmanrara @fayetozersmith and @jenny_from_the_quiz - tickets available NOW from nimaxtheatres.com Former Team GB double winter Olympian Aimee Fuller is on a mission to find the secrets for Monday motivation from some of the most successful sports men and women of our time and other well-known celebrities which will drop every week.  Aimee will be probing for answers from the full spectrum of routines; the early birds who have finely tuned Monday mornings, to the late risers who struggle to get up before 11am. How do elite athletes find the motivation to kick start their week come rain or shine? How do celebrities deliver no matter what the time of day? What knowledge can they pass on?’  Each episode will drop on a Monday morning and plays out in real time. Aimee will meet each of her guests for a walk and a chat and over the course of the mile she will find out how they cope on a Monday morning - their idiosyncrasies, breakfast routines, alarm noises - and how, when they need to, find the motivation to kick-on through the week.  Dropping every Monday as a bitesize 20/25 minute piece of content and weekly dose of motivation - right when you need it - sharing some of Britain's greatest athletes’ secrets on self-motivation, candid thoughts on what they struggle with and a sideways look at some of their more unusual morning habits.
