After a quiet two years, Michael Moppert aka Sonarpilot returns to the studio and delivers a full album's worth of new material for 2018 on his Sonarpilot Audio label. A key concept for the label since its inception in 2008 has been collaboration, with original versions of each track mirrored with a remix production from a key name from the world of underground electronica. With releases roughly every month throughout the year, today Hype Filter today brings you a summer 4-track sampler including two of the most respected names in Techno, UK Techno pioneer Kirk Degiorgio (Machine/ ART) and New York City’s Dub Techno king, Brendon Moeller (Beat Pharmacy). This DJ only 4 track EP features two tracks from the batch of recent releases (just in case you've missed them) and two brand new titles lined up for release the tail end of the summer - All mastered and polished by another legend of the techno world, Robert Babicz. Having remixed for the label in the past, Kirk Degiorgio once again provides a classic, tough dance-floor techno sound on 'Moth' - with the addition of a fresh vocal line -Yes, that’s Kirk himself in the vocal booth delivering the hooks! Brendon Moeller (Beat Pharmacy) has a huge underground following around the world, the dub techno king's 'live-take' studio mixing desk dub sessions are legendary and in a world of tightly arranged, rigid tracks that follow the tried and tested formula, his rework of 'Listen Dub' has a refreshing freedom and groove that will no doubt shake the walls in dark rooms worldwide.
