PREMIERE: Sascha Dive & Christian Burkhardt - Craigser [OBLACKDS018]

Oblack’s next release comes from Sascha Dive & Christian Burkhardt with two deep cuts this March, featuring a rhythmic remix from label owners Los Pastores. Since starting in 2012 Los Pastores’ Oblack has released music by some of the scene’s most well-known talent, with appearances from Robsoul Recordings founder Phil Weeks, Endless owner Luca Bacchetti and Dogmatik Records boss Alex Arnout. Deep Vibes label head Sascha Dive and German producer Christian Burkhardt now join the ranks with a collaborative release, previously working together on Raum...musik, Freebase Records and Burkhardt’s own label CB Sessions. The release opens with whipping snares and as bouncing bassline in ‘Chordrush’ before dubby synths ebb and flow throughout, moving into the mesmerising ‘Craigser’ where soothing chords join echoing effects. Tying it all together, Los Pastores put their spin on ‘Craigser’ by taking the track into more percussive territories, adding breakbeat inspired drums and a variety of samples.
