Game of Thrones Finale Gets the Devil and the Advocate Treatment From MMO

Mike, Mike, & Emmy? We complete our Game of Thrones mini-series of reviews after the last few MMOW’s by dishing out some hot takes you won’t hear anywhere else on the finale. Mike 1 is a professional lawyer AND an amateur devil as a recent show watcher of only this & the first season. This is the equivalent of what Heath Ledger said as the Joker in The Dark Knight. What happens when “an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?” Find out in this somehow good natured, but intense discussion of all the great & terrible from this latest and final season / episode of Game of Thrones. It’s been a while since we’ve done a DaTA, also known as a Devil and the Advocate episode. Basically, we have structured them as a debate centric kind of format. One of us takes the position of the advocate, who must be passionate about a particular hot take or subject. Then, the other Mike assumes the role of the devil, who has the responsibility to oppose that particular argument. This will mark the 5th DaTA in our catalog. We started it off with a look at Solo: A Star Wars Story, which one Mike hated with a passion. Then we switched places to talk about the first Halloween trailer leading into our Michael Myers franchise re-watch of that entire franchise. We both had strong feelings for the debut of the Nic Cage movie trailer for Mandy, and finally, Mike 1 loves wrestling, and we had a blast debating whether or not Paul Heyman, WWE’s greatest advocate (by actual title) was deserving of an Emmy for his performance on high drama that is professional wrestling. So we had a lot of fun with this one. Thanks go out to our audience and Mike 1 from going along with this Mike, Mike, and Emmy product from the MM And Oscar product line. We’ll continue our Pixar Re-Watch with two more installments in that series later this week with Up and Brave reviews.
