Just yesterday we released our year end celebration on 2018’s best & worst moments in films with the 2018/19 Mike, Mike, & Oscars. On Wednesday, we drew our Category Overview series to a close with our podcast on the Best Adapted & Original Screenplays, we’ve consulted with the Oscar Oracle himself - Scott Feinberg of The Hollywood Reporter, made our picks in our betting odds analyzing Oscar Picks episode, and now we can finally bring our longest ending series of the year to a rousing conclusion. The Cold War Oscar Sprint Profile will be our last of the 2018/19 Awards Season, and along with the movie events, we have (insert tallied # here) episodes. So for the finale, we wanted to try something different, and hopefully, you find it as entertaining as we did. In any event, maybe don’t judge all our OSP / Movie Events / Movie Reviews based on this show alone. Fatigue set in days ago. I wish fatigue was merely what we were dealing with at this stage. At the moment, complete & utter physical collapse is a more accurate summary. But we’re doing daily Oscar pods this Oscar Week because despite the tax we might pay in lack of sleep, we gain in listeners & the new friends we’re making on a daily basis. This has unquestionably been the most successful week of our history, and we have you to thank. Stay tuned as we somehow finish the week up with two more shows. For Sunday Morning, we’ll have an MMOW. We’ll recap the Indie Spirit Awards and cover your latest responses to SixDegreesOfMMO as well as any leftover submissions from the MMO’s. Then we’ll do our customary check-ins with whatever’s happening in the film world like Box Office Reactions, Trailer Thoughts, News of the Week, etc. Finally, we’ll have a Post Oscar Show recap ASAFP for you all on Monday as we’ll be recording it after the show Sunday Night. Though we may be dragging ourselves across the finish line, at least, the sprinting & the profiling is now behind us. That is, until we begin our 2019/2020 OSP’s next month!
