Although Arash originally was an architect he rose to prominence through his music. He started the band Kiosk and Iranian rock band inspired by blues, folk and gypsy jazz. His political lyrics and social commentary became a staple of his sound. Arash has also worked as a broadcaster for various shows and programs.
