In addition to his lawyer life, Shervin serves as a member of the board of advisors to Artistic Freedom Initiative, a nonprofit organization led by immigration and human rights attorneys facilitating pro bono immigration representation and resettlement assistance for international artists at risk. Moreover, he is a member of the Big Dance Theater board of directors, a New York City-based dance theater company known for its experimental theater works combining dance, drama, and literature.
