S4 E19 - Solskjaer's at the wheel, how good does it feel

Manchester United Weekly Podcast - A podcast by Harry Robinson & Jack Tait

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope your true love brings you 12 Cantonas. A busy week for Manchester United in which things twisted and turned until we landed upon the man who put the ball in the German’s net. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - Manchester United manager. It sounds good. It looks good. And so does the football. A 5-1 victory against Cardiff City in the late kick-off on Saturday evening to start the festive period. Mike Phelan is back at the club, too, and his United side have scored 5 goals in two consecutive games, 2043 days apart. The last game he was involved in was the 5-5 draw with West Brom. It was our first time scoring five since that game and a day of happiness and relief. An exciting day. A day that doesn’t signal a huge turning point, it doesn’t mean everything will now be fine. We will lose games this season, and probably quite a few. We still probably won’t make top 4 or win a trophy, but the excitement is back, the mood has rocketed upwards and it’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s red army now, and that’s brilliant to say.
