Last week, the murder of George Floyd swept the internet. People watched the police kneel on George until he died, despite him saying he couldn't breathe. This isn't the first time we've seen black people treated this way. It's sparked outrage, conversation and activism. People are wondering if things will ever change, and how we can make the change. We must start the work, and children are the future  Join us on this episode to learn about racism and how to raise anti-racist kids. This is not just for parents of black children. We urge all to listen and learn as we discuss our personal experiences with racism, how people, politicians, celebrities and the world at large has reacted to the murder of George Floyd, what will bring change, and how we can raise children to be the change.  As Angela Davis, the activist, has said "in a racist society it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist".  Please share, and continue the conversation in our comments and polls on social media - online, and offline   This episode is also available to watch on Youtube You can follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook - linktr.ee/mamadrama  [We have included a bonus clip after the end of the episode, where we continued the conversation]  #racism #blacklivesmatter #blm #antiracist #parenting #donaldtrump #maga #policebrutality #georgefloyd #sandrabland #tamirrice #trayvonmartin #ahmaudarbery #angeladavis #malcolmx #mlk #civilrights #slavery #colonialism
