Lucy Loves Luke Tyburski

I have to confess – I am a little bit in awe of this week’s guest. I was quite happy to boast about my daily two mile run. Only to learn that I was sharing this with Luke Tyburski, who was listed as being one of the 50th fittest athletes. Running 500 miles is nothing out of the ordinary for Luke, making my two miles pale in insignificance!  I was lucky enough to meet Luke at a virtual coffee morning and immediately took to his humble, big-hearted smile. Luke is one of life's fantastic all-rounders who has used his life experience in such a positive way. He is also a public speaker, coach, author, and an extreme adventure guru – is there anything he can’t do?!     Here are the highlights:  {1:38} The pandemic forcing us to pivot  {4:03} Be curious  {9:07} Inspiring others to achieve something  {13:45} Finding the courage to open up about mental health  {18:54} Over-focussed isn’t always a good thing  {24:31} It’s not about the setback, but the comeback    Luke’s Book Recommendation:  Real Food, Fake Food by Larry Olmsted  Puke and Rally by Dr Rob Bell    Find out more about Lucy and listen to more episodes at http://lucygourlay.com
