Thousands of criminals were able to plan, document, and share violent crimes, including murder, using encrypted phones from the startup Sky Global. Authorities were able to crack the company’s encryption which opened the Pandora’s Box of “hallucinatory” crimes worldwide. One string of messages revealed a Serbian Slaughterhouse, an unsuspecting home in the Balkans where victims were being fed into an industrial meat grinder and disposed of in the Danube River.
