This movie is arguably already extremely gay, but like all the movies in the “should’ve been” category, it never comes out of the closet. We talk about finding our root in the ice bath scene, lesbian fashion icon Haley Graham, and the inherent queerness of fighting the patriarchy through gymnastics. This movie is overflowing with gay content and where it doesn’t deliver on plot development, it sticks the landing on delivering some very distracting visuals.
