Interview with Roman Koch, Legal Counsel at Bridgestone EMIA

In this episode I speak to Roman Koch from Bridgestone who is helping lead a global legal tech programme for the company. His initial local idea quickly became a global project with regions including the US, Japan, Singapore, Brazil as well as his own in Europe. He is currently focused on contract review software and e-signature tools. But in the next 6-12 months, Bridgestone, like many companies, believe what is extremely important is a having single contract management system. The Covid crisis has proved that having a single source of truth of legacy contracts is really essential to the business. In Roman's view CLM is not enough though - contract review powered by AI will also be hugely beneficial.Navigating all the options on the market is tricky, so inhouse teams should map out what they have and what they need. He uses LinkedIn to find out what is out there, particularly tools being created by startups in the market. Tune in to hear more.
