Interview with Marjorie Goux and Shannon Pedroni Clif Bar

This week I caught up with chief legal counsel at Clif Bar, Marjorie Goux, and her colleague Shannon Pedroni who is senior contracts manager. They discussed how legal tech has helped their business leaders focus on running the business, and doing the stuff they really enjoy. They trumpet the use of Contract Express which they've configured in innovative ways to streamline their contract cycle. They've used templates to enable business users (known as CLIFsters) to submit the most frequent queries for the legal team via an automated questionnaire, all key info is collected instantly so no emails back and forth between legal and business users are required. Marjorie makes the point that implementing legal tech fundamentally is about change management, and therefore winning hearts and minds is key. They took the time to engage key stakeholders at every step of the way, understanding their needs, and ensuring the solution was not only fit for purpose, but also better than the status quo.Tune in to find out more.
