Surah Ghafir (غافر‎) is the 40th chapter of the Qur’an. The surah titled in English means “The Forgiver” and it consists of 85 verses.This Surah is about Da’wah meaning an invitation to Islam. It begins by addressing how the Qur’an is from Allah who is merciful and severe, It Warns to the non-believers and gives comfort to the believers. Verses 69-76 were revealed to provide relief to the Prophet to have patience and gives examples of those that have come before him.
