This week after Chris’ market report and own experience of Semex, Will and Ben are joined by José Nobre, CEO at AB Agri and Matt Stephenson, a dairy farmer from Cumbria for a debrief on their experiences of the Semex conference and discussion about the future of dairy. José outlines the challenges facing the industry and how some of these might be addressed, especially through a more circular approach to farming and a collaborative approach to selling the nutritional benefits of dairy to feed the world. Matt describes his journey into becoming a dairy farmer and how they overcame challenges with the help, advice and inspiration of others, as well as his vision for the future including investing in staff and growing the business sustainably.
