They discuss the significant price rises, their impact on profitability and the risks of knee jerk reactions or poor planning. Paul focuses on fertiliser – with some top tips and a market situation outlook. Tim discusses some of the alternative options to our shrinking choice of feed materials in the UK and possible unintended consequences of cutting feed rates. It’s a stark listen made slightly more cheery by Chris Walkland’s milk market report which is again very positive.
