Being Sinclairs, they keep a stiff upper lip and never talk about loss. Gat, on the other hand, not being a Sinclair, talks of his memories of both Tipper and Cady's father Sam to Cady's shameful agony. We learn about Cady's accident and why she has headaches. She misses much of her junior year of school. Her father takes her to Europe for the summer and she misses the other "Liars." She leaves a series of lonely sounding voice mails and emails for the liars, that she later regrets. She has not heard from Gat, even after her accident.
