The Yellow Wallpaper

Gilman, C.P., (1892) Thanks for listening! A great, controversial (for the time) semi-autobiographical short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman about the mental health deterioration of a woman, and her obsession with the wallpaper in a room of a country estate she & her physician husband rent for three months. (Published in 1892). After publication, a Boston physician wrote to New England Magazine objecting to the publication of this short story, saying it was enough to drive anyone mad to read it!
