Oops! I said "Chapter 41" but it's really Chapter 44. Miss Darcy arrives, and she and Mr. Darcy call on Elizabeth and the Gardiners. Miss Darcy is very shy. Mr. Bingley also shows up. Everyone is invited to Pemberly for dinner. The Gardiners learn that everyone thinks well of Darcy, but not of Wickham. Miss Bingley bad mouths Elizabeth to Darcy after everyone leaves, and he is forced to tell Miss Bingley that he finds Elizabeth beautiful.
