The regiment is leaving and the younger Bennet girls are unhappy. Lydia is invited to go to Brighton. Kitty sulks, and Elizabeth tells her father that perhaps Lydia shouldn't go because she'll be a disappointment to the family. Elizabeth doesn't think her parents have a very affectionate marriage. Lydia writes that she is having a good time. Elizabeth goes on her summer trip with the Gardiners and is anxious when they announce a change in itinerary. Mrs. Gardiner wants to visit Derbyshire which Pemberly Estate is, and Elizabeth doesn't want to go for fear of running into Mr. Darcy. Thanks for listening.
