Judy and Linda feel hopeful after trying out some new February K-dramas.   Digressions:   0:57 - Listener E-mails! 13:49 - Judy was expecting more Henry Cavill sword fighting from the second season of "The Witcher". 17:09 - Linda watched the second season of "Sweet Magnolias" which is a bit cloying but easy to digest. 19"02 - Judy loves Ali Wong and her latest comedy special, "Don Wong" is out on Netflix!   21:23 - "Forecasting Love and Weather" (기상청 사람들: 사내연애 잔혹사 편) is a JTBC drama set at the Korean Meteorological Administration, of all places. It stars Park MinYoung and Song Kang. It's gotta be funded by KMA, seeing as how they love showing montages of why accurate weather prediction is so important? And graphs. So many graphs. 38:25 - "Twenty-Five, Twenty-One" (스물다섯 스물하나) is a TVN drama with strong "Reply 1988" vibes. It stars Kim TaeRi and Nam JooHyuk as bright-eyed youths against the background of the 1990s IMF crisis. They are an absolute delight to watch. 50:30 - "Thirty, Nine" (서른, 아홉) stars Son YeJin, Jeon MiDo and Kim JiHyun as a strong-knit group of friends. This TVN slice-of-life drama also has 3 male leads, but who really cares about them?
