Family on Mission in Romania with Darius and Bia Bosca

Josiah Venture Stories - A podcast by Gwynne Gardner - Tuesdays

Darius and Bia Bocsa are missionaries in Romania. Darius, who is from Romania, met his wife Bia, who is from Brazil, at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Both have a desire and passion for serving the Lord and making the name of Jesus known. After they were married, they decided to move to Romania and work with young people. Darius and Bia's passion is to communicate the gospel to Romanian youth so that they will understand it, live by it daily, and ultimately pass it on to others. Darius is the director of Josiah Venture's Summer ministries in Romania and is helping to train youth leaders across the country to be fruitful in their ministries yearlong. He likes all types of sports (basketball the most) and uses pop-culture references when sharing the gospel. Bia is the intern coordinator for Josiah Venture in Romania and coaches other missionaries in their fund-raising endeavors. She is very proud of her Brazilian heritage and loves coffee and Chick-fil-A sauces. Darius and Bia have two children, a boy named Lucca and a little girl named Lara. In this episode, they share how they met, the spiritual climate in Romania, their roles with summer ministry, and how they desire to be a family on mission. At the end of the episode, Darius shares his journey with cancer and what he has learned through a difficult season.   Learn more about Josiah Venture Website: www.josiahventure.com Social Media: @josiahventure Contact: [email protected] Josiah Venture Prayer Room: pray.josiahventure.com Josiah Venture Prayer Room APP: josiahventure.com/prayer-room-app
