Being a Missionary and Pastor in His Hometown with Andrej Lovse

Josiah Venture Stories - A podcast by Gwynne Gardner - Tuesdays

Andrej Lovše is a missionary and pastor in his hometown of Maribor, Slovenia, and serves as the Josiah Venture country leader. In this episode, you will hear all about Andrej’s love for his country, his family, and his three horses. He also shares his wild dreams and prayers he has for Slovenia. He met his wife, Nina, when they were teenagers. Nina was the first to accept Christ due to missionaries sharing the gospel with her outside her high school. A few years later, Andrej became a believer and left medical school to pursue Bible training. They married in 2001 and moved to Zagreb, Croatia to study theology and both got undergraduate degrees in Bible at the Biblical Institute in Zagreb and Master’s degrees in Christian Ministry at Abilene Christian University. Since 2010, they have been church planting and using tools such as Fusion, English, and sports to continue investing in the city's youth. They hope that new churches will be planted and that next-generation leaders will be equipped to reach Slovenia. They live and serve with their three kids, Eva, Izak, and Timi, in a small community near Maribor.   Learn more about Josiah Venture Website: www.josiahventure.com Social Media: @josiahventure Contact: [email protected]   Mission Trips: josiahventure.com/mission-trips Summer Internships: josiahventure.com/summer-internships Josiah Venture Prayer Room: pray.josiahventure.com Josiah Venture Prayer Room APP: josiahventure.com/prayer-room-app
