In this episode, I share a collection of new songs from trumpet players I love - Yazz Ahmed, Ife Ogunjobi, Theo Croker, and Poppy Daniels. There are three debuts from drummer Finn Genocky, guitarist Alex Cosmo Blake, and my talented friend, guitarist Youness. The month's discoveries include saxophonist Nora Stanley, pianist Benny Bock, and Simen Sez. There is new music from singers Ni Maxine, Cecilie Strange, and Eve Buckley. We end the playlist with music from Hermeto Pascoal, who passed away recently. His unwavering dedication to his craft is, for me, his most incredible legacy. I hope more artists are inspired by his example of authenticity.
