About the hosts: Valentina Abbona, 6th generation of the Marchesi di Barolo winery together with her brother Davide, lives a passionate and deep relationship with wine, is for her emotion, feeling, history, terroir and – above all – home. She attended the Bocconi University and graduated with distinction in Business Administration and then undertook several international exchange programs that took her from Manchester to Hyderabad (India) and again to New York, as well as to Shanghai, a city where she worked for about a year at a prestigious family-owned consulting firm. Together with her mother Anna, Valentina is now at the helm of the Cantine dei Marchesi di Barolo. William Predhomme is a highly accomplished leader in the marketing and wine industries. As the CEO of Predhomme Strategic Marketing, a Canada-based international marketing and distribution company, he has demonstrated his expertise in Wine, Spirits, and Food. Throughout his career, William has successfully guided numerous well-known brands to new heights using his insightful understanding of global market dynamics. His strategic marketing campaigns have resonated with consumers worldwide, establishing him as a skilled professional in his field. Beyond his marketing role, William is also a notable wine producer, making a mark on vineyards in Oregon, South Africa, and Ontario through his venture, Pearce Predhomme Wines. His wines have gained acclaim from industry peers and wine enthusiasts for their quality and character.
