The Deadly Balance with Prof Adam Hart

It's one thing to want wildlife, especially the big mega fauna like lions, tigers & leopards, to thrive & do well in the wild, but it's another to stop & consider what will happen if their populations grow alongside human populations. Indigenous communities have lived alongside wildlife & with nature since forever but as pressures from the western world (both past & presence) mean predators are forced to live closer & closer, the consequences grow more severe. Prof Adam Hart, someone who has been on the show a few times before, has focused on human / wildlife conflicts a lot in his career & his new book, The Deadly Balance, looks at how different species bring their different challenges.
