Triathlon is in Rudy von Berg's genes. The 26-year-old grew up in a household where swim-bike-run was the norm. His Dad Rudolphe Von Berg first race at the Ironman World Championships in the 1980s. And von Berg Jnr has been dreaming of winning the iconic race since he first stepped on the Big Island as a 5 year old, to watch his Dad compete. In the last couple of years, under coach Luc Van Lierde, Rudy von Berg has shown he means business. In 2019 he finished 3rd at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. But the wait to do a full Ironman continues...
