If these guys aren’t on your radar yet, they will be after this! Their practical approach to functional fitness as it specifically relates to the fire service is what they are well known for. There are some bold, but much-needed claims that they make in their book and oftentimes on their social media. Things like, “The extent to which a firefighter develops their cardiovascular capacity will ultimately determine whether they are an asset or a liability on the fireground.” These are hard truths that we sometimes choose to ignore and in doing so, we shirk accountability.
