雅思口语P2 Describe a time that you wore a type of clothes for a special occasion(文字版）

I would like to talk about the time when I got to put on a special set of sportswear. it was about two months ago, as I took part in the urban Marathon that takes place once a year in my city. I was so excited because I participated in last year’s, I had a team of four, and we did pretty well, so I wanted to see if we could do even better. However, a huge change happened for this, because it became so popular that some local TV channels came to cover the event. The result is that many small brands and enterprises wanted to take advantage of that opportunity, so they were allowed to sponsor one team each. Mine was sponsored by a local business called Anta and they had us wear a quite beautiful team uniform, which main colors were blue and white. They also gave us some shoes, and I really like that because we looked very professional dressed like that. We made it to the finals and lost, but it was a very good experience, and I can’t wait for next year’s.
