International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM

TRIGGER WARNING: Today marks the International Day of Zero Tolerance for female genital mutilation (FGM). More than 200 million women and girls worldwide and around 137,000 women and girls in the UK are living with the consequences of FGM. We hope this episode sheds a light on this issue and enables us all to play our part in the work to eradicate FGM.  We're crowdfunding at the moment to ensure that we can help more women! Please donate what you can! Email us at [email protected]! Sign up to join the sisterhood via our website Find us on Twitter (@homegirlsunite) and Instagram (@homegirlsunite). We'll be posting weekly so join us on this journey! Happy listening!

Om Podcasten

We're Home Girls Unite, a support group for eldest daughters and daughters from immigrant homes, and this is our podcast. Every week, we come together to discuss a topic that is unique to our struggles as eldest daughters who were forced to grow up before our time and mother those around us.
