Healthcare IT Today Interviews - A podcast by John Lynn

When the internet first started, websites were essentially full of static content.  Very useful at the time, but not very dynamic.  As internet technology evolved, websites were able to be much more interactive and were able to do things like user-generated content, dynamic content, and facilitate broad collaboration with other people.  Not to mention, the internet became much easier to use and impactful on our lives.  This shift in the internet was deemed Web 2.0. In healthcare, we've seen a similarly dramatic shift in how we use technology.  In fact, much like Web 2.0, for a while we had a conference called Health 2.0 that highlighted the shift from the early days of healthcare technology that was very administrative to the much more dynamic technology that's readily available today. At the recent HLTH 2024 conference, I sat down with Pranam Ben, Founder & CEO at The Garage, to learn more about how he sees healthcare technology evolving from Health 1.0 to what he sees as Health 3.0 today.  He shares with us his view of the Health 3.0 tenents that healthcare organizations should be embracing today along with some of the challenges and opportunities.
