Your Community Needs A Messenger
Every business should aim to have their own community - a community of their own raving fans that loves the brand and share information with each other. I stand by the statement that every community needs a messenger because a community without a messenger would lack the drive to propel forward to make any movement in any direction. Soon, the community would remain but the people inside would shut off and cease communication. This isn't what a real community should be.
There are three different types of messengers. Read on to find out which type are you!
A Leader
A leader leads. This is someone who knows clearly about what the community stands for and acts as the absolute example. Many communities have leaders - religious groups, companies and even sports games. Their leadership is defined by their drive and motivation. They seek to always do the appropriate thing and represents the community.
A Crusader
A crusader is someone who shares. This is someone who tells people their personal experience and with that, they show the way to the light or solve their problem. They try different methods and see what works, regardless of whether they fail or pass, before they share their experience.
For those who feel they belong in this group, but don't really try things out because of time limitation or have the luxury of money, you actually do belong in this group but in a subclass - The Reporter/Witness.
You still share, but you study others and then spread the value.
A Reluctant Hero
This is someone who is shy and doesn't like to be in the spotlight, but they understand that they need to share their message, their knowledge and their value to the world and so they respond to that bigger calling.
Every community needs a messenger. Which type of messenger are you?
