Dana and Tom welcome first-time guest, writer/director Scott Hardie (Father of the Flying Car), to discuss the movie that started Quentin Tarantino's career, Reservoir Dogs (1992): directed, written by, and starring Quentin Tarantino, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, and Michael Madsen.Plot Summary: Six men are hired to rob the local jewelry store for a recent diamond shipment: Mr. White (Harvey Keitel), Mr. Orange (Tim Roth), a new guy; Mr. Blonde (Michael Madsen), a trigger-happy killer; Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi), a paranoid neurotic; Mr. Brown (Quentin Tarantino); and Mr. Blue (Edward Bunker). Hired by mob boss Joe Cabot (Lawrence Tierney) and given fake names so no one could identify the others. At first it goes smoothly, but then the alarm gets tripped, several employees and customers die in the panic, and the cops show up within moments which results in a massive bloody shootout. They soon realize that one of them had to have been a police informant.
