We really need proven, reliable technology when out in the hills So let’s see! * The next thing on this month’s GPS Training Podcast is Andy’s top tips GPSMap67 - If updated using Garmin Express or via WIfi to latest f/w 4.80 you have quick access to flashlight by tapping power button once Mobe down to flashlight and press Enter - repeat to turn off From the main menu you can also access main flashlight icon and use the SOS setting - if not in main menu select Add page - Select Applications Select Flashlight eTrex SE - when paired with Explore app you can have set for notification from your phone - with there mean no turn alert or vibrate on the unit messages only appear for approx 20 seconds - to check if any message hold back arrow button for a couple of seconds to goto Glances - scroll down notifications - press ok to read - once notifications cleared from your phone they clear on device If you do not want notifications - Settings - Phone - Selected notifications okay toggles on or off
