Disconnecting from the city while blocking the sun | Rodrigo Muro

Rodrigo is working at KTH as the program director of a Masters program in Architectural Lighting Design, teaching students lighting and daylighting. I had a chance to have an informal chat with his as a part of this podcast a year after having completed that Masters and discuss soft aspects of lighting and differences between Stockholm and Mexico City. Some of the points we have touched upon: 💡City as a multitude of inputs 💡Memories and digital footprint 💡Functional lighting for work hours and expressive, distractive during after hours 💡Ciudadela Park in Barcelona 💡Me responding to Rodrigo’s question at the end of where does my interest in the city coming from 🌏 Now it's your turn! ❶ To help my project grow give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review on a platform you listen to it ❷ Follow on Instagram and Facebook by searching @ACityForYou there ❸ ENJOY A City for You --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/acityforyou/message

Om Podcasten

Casting light on citizens and their urban life through 5 simple questions. This is my way to connect citizens through sharing their stories. Why not dive into a pool of opinions and views on a city and artificial lighting, described by people from around the world? Next time you walk through your city, notice that every person passing by has their own story and you might hear it soon. acityforyou.wordpress.com
