At one stage as far down as the sixth tier of non-league football, a stratospheric rise to Charlton and then Burnley propelled him into the Premier League where he currently resides as one of the division’s top goalkeepers. Chuck an England call-up, a first England cap and trip to the 2018 World Cup in the mix and you have a goalkeeper very much on the up.
