Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford, a leading obesity expert, discusses weight bias and weight stigma. As an obesity physician, Dr. Stanford treats people with obesity daily, and sees the challenges they face due to weight bias and weight stigma. This conversation exposes the origins of these biases, why they are so harmful, and how we all have roles to play in defeating them - especially as parents and family members.
