Matthew Cooke is the founder and creator of the Body Based Breakthrough method which is a somatic practice that involves movement, breath and journaling. This practice helps you find clarity through your own breakthroughs, find solutions to your own ‘problems’, and assists you in cultivating creativity to tap into and unlock your potential. He also trains therapists, coaches, and healing practitioners in this somatic healing technique so that they can lead their clients through this practice. I, (Kenzie) am currently going through the training and it is powerful, healing, and profound and I can’t wait to weave it into my work. Trauma is not happening to you, trauma is what is happening inside of your body.
