We yap about His move back to Ireland and we look back at his career and recent work with Netflix on the horror feature film "Eli" and "The Haunting of Bly Manor" which he Directed two excellent Episodes of in 2020. Ciarán graduated from IADT, His IFB funded short-short, The Faeries of Blackheath Woods, screened at over 40 festivals worldwide and won nine best short awards at international festivals such as; Melbourne, Cork, and Brest. It was also nominated for an IFTA and a Golden Meliés (European Fantasy Award). Ciarán’s feature film debut Citadel, which premiered at SXSW in March 2012, garnered rave reviews from publications like Variety and blogs such as Aintitcool.com and walked away with the coveted Midnighters Audience Award. Ciarán next directed the supernatural horror film Sinister 2 for Blumhouse Productions, starring James Ransone and Shannyn Sossamon. The film was written by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, and was released on August 21, 2015 by Focus Features' label Gramercy Pictures.
