A proper grafter and continual student of Film: Paudie Baggott. Paudie gives us a very frank account of his experiences working in Film/Tv in a variety of roles and his successful mission to fund his award winning film "Rip to the Rescue" written By Cian McGarrigle. "Paudie is a Writer/Director based in Dublin. A graduate of the National Film at IADT, Paudie worked as an Art Director in Film, Tv and Commercials out of college before returning to his first love - Directing. His debut short Rip to the Rescue!- a scifi comedy, is currently on the festival circuit, and recently won the Best Short Film at the Waterford Film Festival. He is currently developing his follow up short Harvester - a dark comedy-horror about a young man whose arm becomes possessed by his dead Dad's. Day to day Paudie co-owns the production company Escape Pod Media with Maggie Ryan, currently developing a slate of comedy shorts with a range of exciting writers and directors."
