37. Struggling with Attraction: When the Men You Desire Don't Desire You, and Vice Versa

Here's the common dilemma most women know:The men I want - don't want me & the ones who want me - I'm not attracted to.Let me tell you why this happens...You are the common denominator.You are operating in the spirit of avoidance, conflict, drama. YOU are unavaialble to love. Trust me when I say this, if the man you're pinning after suddenly turned around and wanted to give you the world - you'd run the other way. I've seen this time and time again. The only viable solution is to neither chase nor run, but stay still and BE with the discomfort of love.It's to surrender. To love. And you'll either do it with the man who worships you - or the man who avoids you. Or to God, or to life, or to your own self.But love is love is love. You have to surrender at one point or another. And surrender doesn't mean be a powerless doormat. It means give up the ego, lay down your armour, let yourself receive what you're so deeply longing for. It means face the truth, speak the truth; have the hard conversations, do the hard things; feel the uncomfortable sensations, emotions, feelings. Being available to LOVE.And love is not always easy. In fact, it's often VERY uncomfortable and inconvenient, if you're not familiar with it.Sometimes love also destroys (or gently disintegrates :) parts fo you so you can be transformed, and that's painful, and you're scared of that.That's why you avoid it!!!If you want to receive the benefits of love - be available to sacrifice (ego, avoidance, fears) for love. Be available to be shaped and transformed by love. Rather than being unavaialble to love, decide to be unavaialble to drama, unnecessary intensity, conflict.You get to choose your focus and avaialbility. You get to choose what you partake in. You get to choose which of your thoughts and emotions you indulge in.Be rigorously disciplined about it.You absolutely CAN have the relationship of your dreams, and with quite literally anyone (because when you're open, you rendezvous with people who are open). You decide what you draw out of people and what you're available to experience, within and without.Not quite clear on the how? I do this energetic work with my clients.
