Re H-N and the Court's view on PD12J

Today Melanie is joined by Emma Spruce, Emma is a family law barrister at 4 Paper Buildings in London. She has experience across the spectrum of family law, representing clients at all levels including the High Court. Emma is regularly instructed in both private and public children law and has assisted clients in cases with complex issues such as allegations of domestic abuse, internal and international relocation, implacable hostility and alienation. She also has experience of representing clients in cases with varied jurisdictional issues and in defending applications for divorce.  Together they will discuss the recent Court of Appeal case of Re H-N & Others (children) and the potential to redefine the way in which the Family Court approaches domestic abuse.
