049 Caring less about what people think of me

Fail Forward - A podcast by Henri Ghijben

Welcome to the Fail Forward podcast. A podcast guest once said to me, “What other people think of me is none of my business!”   Does it bother you what people think of you?   From a young age I moved around a lot, went to lots of different schools and had to become good at making friends.    And it really bugged me if people didn’t like me.   Looking back now I can see that it’s perfectly normal. Nobody likes everyone. There are people you click with and people you don’t - and that’s OK.    Despite knowing this, it’s taken me a long time to learn not to care what other people think of me. Although the last few years of creating regular social media content has certainly helped me develop a thicker skin!   In this episode I explore:   > The freedom that comes from not caring what others think > The importance of being authentic in all that you do   Have a listen and I’d love to hear your thoughts.    If you’re enjoying the Fail Forward podcasts, follow me on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn for all the latest on my mission to help business owners Fail Forward.    Facebook https://www.facebook.com/failforwardhenri LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/henri-ghijben-539132101/ TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@failforward12 Instagram https://www.instagram.com/henrighijben/
