002 What is perfect?

Fail Forward - A podcast by Henri Ghijben

Looking back on when things have gone wrong can be painful, embarrassing or any other uncomfortable emotion. As a result, it’s often easier not to and instead focus on what’s next.   In this episode of Fail Forward, I reflect on how it felt to listen back to episode 1 when I was interviewed by Amy Rowlinson and consider the importance of taking time to reflect and learn throughout our lifetime.   You’ll frequently hear me say, “Failure isn’t a negative if you learn from it” - something I passionately believe.   To live the life you want to live, you need to push boundaries, develop and evolve. And that means learning from everything you do - good, bad and indifferent.   Perfection is just a perception.   As Rob Moore says, “Every master was once a disaster”. In striving for perfection and beating ourselves up when we don’t achieve it.   By drawing from my own real-life experiences, courses I’ve attended, and books I’ve read, my aim, through Fail Forward, is to give you hope and inspire you to stop fearing failure.   If you like what you hear in the Fail Forward podcasts, You can follow me on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/failforwardhenri LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/henri-ghijben-539132101/ TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@failforward12 Instagram https://www.instagram.com/henrighijben/
