His humor was spotlighted on the series SCTV and expanded into the movies. Sometimes he played secondary characters, but other times he played a lovable and bumbling hero that we loved to root for. His life ended way too early, but he left us with some great comedy to enjoy for years to come.    Since we are closer and closer to Halloween, we pair some of the most popular candies with some of John Candy’s best movies. What a tasty way to laugh! Which part of John Candy’s career do you prefer? What candy pairs well with his movies? First person that emails me with the subject line, “Be sure to bring your Death Certificate” will get a special mention on the show.  Let us know.
