#26 | The Global Engineering Mindset

Gabriel, Beth and Seren speak with Nav Sawhney, the founder of The Washing Machine Project and elected trustee of Engineers Without Borders UK. The Washing Machine Project aims to limit the burden of hand washing clothes for people all over the world by creating a single, standalone, off-grid washing solution. In partnership with Oxfam, Nav and his team delivered 50 prototypes in Iraq in 2019, and that was just the beginning. In this episode, Nav speaks of the inspiration behind his project, the prototype development process, and the importance of globally responsible engineering.
